Wood and lumber is heavy and awkward, and shipping lumber means hiring a person to handle it and deliver it right to your door.
Because of the weight, size, and shape of lumber, it pushes the limits of Fed Ex, UPS and USPS infrastructure. They charge additional fees for handling these long, heavy packages.
Rest assured, we're on your side. We're professionals who do this every day, all day. Give us a call or send an email and we can help you figure out the most economical way to ship lumber.
Some ways to get better rates include: asking for short lumber (under 45" long), keeping your packages between 60 and 68 lbs, shipping 200 lbs or more (for a better rate).
Smaller orders incur the highest shipping rates. So think about the long game.
